Odd Fellows Palace
Odd Fellows Palace, at 28 Bredegade, is a rococo building from the 1750s. It housed a concert hall with an excellent acoustic. In Grieg’s day, numerous concerts were held here. Unfortunately, the palace burned down in 1992, and the reconstructed building did not contain a concert hall, because it was assumed that its excellent acoustic qualities could not be reproduced.
