Spanish Steps
Perhaps the most famous steps in Rome, the Spanish Steps lead from the Church of the Holy Trinity (the so-called ‘French Church’) to the Piazza di Spagna (the Spanish Square), and they were financed, together with the church, by the French government. The Fontanna della Barcaccia (with a little boat) was produced by the father of the famous G. L. Bernini, Pietro.
