Brisbane

Taking advantage of Witold Lutosławski’s presence in Sydney and Melbourne in 1987, the Queensland Conservatorium in Brisbane invited him to the Musica Nova festival. In the composer’s presence, Graeme Jennings gave the first Australian performance of his Partita. In commemoration of that visit, in October 2013, professors and students of the conservatory organised a centenary Lutosławski concert.
