Wehr near Rheinfelden

The small town of Wehr, where Anne-Sophie Mutter grew up, was the setting for the familiar photograph of Witold Lutosławski, Paul Sacher and Anne-Sophie from the cover of their disc recorded for Deutsche Grammophon. That photograph was taken in 1988 during the ceremonial renaming of ‘Lark Way’, where the violinist lived as a child, to ‘Anne-Sophie Mutter Way’.
