Århus

In December 1968, Witold Lutosławski spent a couple of weeks teaching at the Conservatory in Århus (spelled Aarhus up to 2011), as a guest in the composition class of Per Nørgård. While he was there, he was invited to take part in ‘workshop concerts’ at the Philharmonic, in which pieces by composition students were practised and performed. Both the lectures and the workshops were recorded and broadcast by Danish Radio.
