Composers / Witold Lutosławski / Places catalog
Celle
Celle was the location of the headquarters of the first foreign publishing house with which Witold Lutosławski signed a contract: Moeck Verlag. Since it specialised in music for recorder (and in the production of those instruments), the first Lutosławski work in its catalogue was Sześć polskich kolęd na trzy flety proste [Six Polish carols for three recorders], published in 1960. Soon, however, works typical of Lutosławski were also published by Moeck: the Pięć pieśni do słów Kazimiery Iłłakowiczówny [Five songs to words by Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna] and Jeux vénitiens.
