Ole Bull

Ole Bull (1810–1880), a Norwegian violin virtuoso and composer, animator of culture, founding father of Oleana colony for Norwegian emigrants in Pennsylvania (the project went bankrupt). Related to Edward Grieg through his mother’s family (maiden name: Hagerup).
