Henry Moore

Henry Moore (1898–1986), an English sculptor, a representative of organic abstraction and figurative sculpture at the same time. In 1958 he was in Poland, invited as the chairman of the jury of the competition for a memorial to the victims of Nazism in Auschwitz-Birkenau. The sculpture of Moore, Standing Figure Knife Edge (1976) is kept in the Centre in Høvikodden. Nordheim composed electrophonic music for the unveiling.
