Aleksander Rembieliński
Aleksander Rembieliński (1800–1828) was a pianist and composer. Rembieliński stayed in Paris in 1819-1825. After returning to Warsaw, he gave concerts and had numerous piano compositions published by Antoni Brzezina and Franciszek Klukowski. Ferdynand Hoesickwrote: ‘Aleksander Rembieliński, who died before time, was another close friend of Chopin. Rembieliński was celebrated for his masterful piano playing and once gave a brilliant improvisation for two pianos with Chopin in a private salon. The two had agreed on the theme and sequence of ideas beforehand’.
