Tobias Haslinger
Tobias Haslinger (1787–1842) was a Viennese music publisher. Haslinger took over the publishing house of Anton Steiner in 1826 after years of working in association with him and building his international reputation. He published compositions by e.g. Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Czerny, Hummel, Moscheles, Weber, Kalkbrenner, and by Polish composers, e.g. Michał Kleofas Ogiński, Józef Elsner and Karol Lipiński. Haslinger published Chopin’s Variations on ‘Là ci darem la mano’ for piano and orchestra, Op. 2 in 1830.
