Izydor Józef Cybulski
Izydor Józef Cybulski – composer, organist and parish priest of the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary. From 1803 to 1805, he worked at Józef Elsner’s printing press, and from 1805 he ran his own music press. Revd Cybulski’s firm published a total of approx. 120 items, including works by Elsner and Lessel. In November 1817, Cybulski published the first work by Chopin to be issued in print: the Polonaise in G minor, WN2. His press was in operation until 1818.
