Adam Czartoryski
Prince Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski (1734–1823) was a Polish politician and (especially educational) reformer. He was Commander of the Corps of Cadets in Warsaw and one of the founders of the National Education Commission. Czartoryski supported the 3 May Constitution and the Kościuszko Uprising (for which the Russian authorities confiscated his property). He was an author, patron of the arts and member of the Warsaw Society of Friends of Learning.
