Juliusz Dziewanowski

Juliusz Dziewanowski (1779–1854) was the father of Dominik ‘Domuś’ Dziewanowski and a paternal cousin of Piotr Dziewanowski, who boarded with Mikołaj Chopin. Dziewanowski owned an estate at Szafarnia, where Chopin twice spent his holidays as a guest of Domuś. He was a witness at the wedding of Chopin’s sister Izabella and Antoni Barciński in 1834.
