Robert Inglis
Sir Robert Inglis (1786–1855) – baronet, British conservative politician, member of parliament for Dundalk, Ripon and Oxford University. Inglis was renowned for his old world views, his support for the Church and his numerous prejudices, yet his refinement, effective contributions to numerous debates and the fact that he represented views that were widely held at that time enabled him to gain considerable influence and popularity in the House of Lords.
