Bjørn Bjørnson
Bjørn Bjørnson (1859–1942) – a Norwegian director, actor and dramaturge. Son of the writer and Nobel Prize winner Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson. From 1885 to 1893, he was artistic director of the Christiania Theatre in Oslo. He was one of the founders of the National Theatre in Oslo (1899) and twice its director (1899–1907; 1923–1927). He was an advocate of realistic and naturalistic tendencies.
