Emil Młynarski
Emil Młynarski (1870–1935) – a Polish violinist and composer, a graduate of St Petersburg Conservatory. He was one of the initiators of the founding of the Warsaw Philharmonic. He ran important musical institutions in Poland: the Warsaw Philharmonic (1901–1905), the Institute of Music (1904–1907) and the Warsaw Opera (1919–1929). His oeuvre includes the ‘Polonia’ Symphony in F major (1910), two violin concertos (1898, 1917), chamber works, operas and songs.
