Georg Bohlmann
Georg Bohlmann (1838–1920) – a Danish composer, organist and music teacher, a friend of Edvard Grieg. He trained with Carl Heinemann in Bremen. For several years, he was an organist in Svendborg. On returning to Copenhagen, he taught mainly music theory and instrumentation. He was director of the Odense Teater and Dagmar Teatret. His oeuvre includes two symphonies, overtures, chamber compositions and also works for solo instrument and orchestra.
