Max Abraham
Max Abraham (1831–1900) – from 1863, the business partner of Julius Friedländer, with whom he ran the Peters publishing house. From 1880, he was the sole proprietor and helped consolidate the firm’s position on the market. Grieg published his Opp. 1 and 2 in 1863 with Peters, which with time became his main publisher, and Abraham his friend.
